RAMALLAH, January 7, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partly cloudy with a further slight rise in temperature, approaching seven degrees Celsius over annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly and light to moderate, and turn into very active at night, approaching about 70km/hr. Sea waves are medium to high.
However on Friday, a low pressure accompanied by a cold front is expected to affect the east Mediterranean region. Therefore, temperatures are expected to significantly drop, and rains, accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected to fall over different areas.
Rains, hail, active winds and thunderstorms are also expected for Saturday as the low pressure continues to affect the region.
Nonetheless, temperatures are expected to rise on Sunday as the effect of the low pressure is expected to come to a halt.
