HEBRON, January 5, 2016 (WAFA)
– Israeli forces predawn Tuesday detained seven Palestinians, including a
minor, and summoned two others from Hebron and Nablus districts, said local
security sources and an activist.
Israeli forces raided several
Hebron neighborhoods, where they detained a Palestinian and summoned another
for interrogation.
Forces detained Mahran Dandis
and handed Khalil al-Qaymari a notice ordering him to appear before Israeli
intelligence.
Forces detained another
Palestinian during a predawn raid into the Yatta locality of al-Qaryatain,
south of the city. The detainee was identified as Osama Mughannam, 28.
Forces detained another
Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his family's house in Beit
‘Awwa, west of the city. The detainee was identified as ‘Issa As-Swaiti, 22.
Furthermore, forces detained a
Palestinian and summoned another during a predawn raid into Beit Ummar, north
of the city.
WAFA reported on local popular
committee spokesman Mohammad ‘Awad as saying that large troops stormed the Beit
Ummar localities of Khalit al-‘Ayn and al-Bayyada, where they proceeded to
detain ‘Amr ‘Arar, 16.
The activist explained that
about 30 soldiers broke into ‘Arar’s family house, smashing the glass of the
main door.
They broke into the house,
shouting and pointing their rifles toward the ‘Arar family before scuffling
with ‘Amr’s parents and physically assaulting his brother, Tarek, 11.
During the predawn raid, troops
also handed Muhammad Ikhlail, 22, a notice ordering him to turn himself over to
Israeli intelligence in Gush Etzion interrogation and detention center, after
breaking into his family's house.
They also stormed at least
three other family houses belonging to Sa‘di Ikhlail and his cousins, Bader and
Mufid.
Meanwhile in the northern West
Bank city of Nablus, forces detained Khalid al-Shaf‘i and ‘Abdullah al-‘Aker,
after storming and ransacking their family houses.
In the meantime in Jenin,
forced detained a Palestinian while he was crossing an Israeli military
checkpoint at the entrance of Tura village, west of the city.
The detainee was identified as
Yazan Qabaha, 17.
