JENIN, April
30, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday detained four
Palestinians and summoned another during raids across Jenin and Hebron
districts, said security sources.
Israeli forces
stormed Tura al-Gharbiya village to the southwest of Jenin before dawn and
detained two Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their homes. The
detainees were identified as Wasef, 21, and Amir Qabaha, 22.
Another Palestinian
was summoned during the raid. Mu’ayad Qabaha was handed a notice summoning him
to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Forces also raided
the southern entrance of Jenin, where they broke into a stone-cutting factory
and briefly detained several Palestinians. The stone-cutting factory belongs to
Muhammad Kamil and is located near Janat park.
Forces also set up
a checkpoint at the entrance, stopping Palestinian-registered vehicles,
checking passengers identity cards and interrogating them, causing a traffic
congestion.
Meanwhile
in Hebron district, forces raided al-Shuhada Street in Hebron city, where they
detained a Palestinian. He was identified as Mufid al-Sharabati.
They
also stormed Khallet al-Ein area in Beit Ummar village, where they proceeded to
break into a local home belonging to Yousef ‘Awad, destroying furniture,
wrecking havoc in the home and terrorizing the owner’s family.
They detained Yousef’s
son, Muhammad, 26.
They
also stormed Bani Na‘im and Yatta towns, deploying in their neighborhoods and
setting up checkpoints at their entrances.
