JERUSALEM, April 28, 2015 (WAFA) –
Israeli forces detained Early Tuesday and late Monday eight
Palestinians from various West Bank districts, said security sources and a
local activist.
Israeli police detained early Tuesday four
Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their houses in the East
Jerusalem neighborhood of al-‘Issawiya.
The detainees were identified as Mahmoud
‘Abdul-Ra’ouf, Murad al-Shaludi, Muhammad ‘Atiyya and ‘Ali Mahmoud.
Meanwhile in Bethlehem district, forces stormed
al-‘Aza refugee camp to the north of Bethlehem, where they detained a
Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his house. He was identified as
Ibrahim ‘Ammarin, 22.
In the meantime in Hebron district, forces
detained a Palestinian from Beit Ummar, a town to the north of the city.
According to Spokesperson of the Local
Anti-settlement Popular Committee Muhammad ‘Awad, Naser Abu ‘Ayyash, 50, was
detained and transferred to a detention center in ‘Gush Etzion’ settlement bloc
after his car was seized.
Meanwhile in Jenin district, forces stormed
al-‘Arqa village to the west of the city, where they proceeded to detain a
Palestinian while he was tending his farmland located near the segregation
wall. The detainee was identified as ‘Imad Saleh.
This came hours after Israeli troops shot and
injured a Palestinian from the same village and briefly detained two others
near the the segregation wall.
Palestinian paramedic and Red Crescent Director
Mahmoud al-Sa‘dai, told WAFA that Muhammad Yahya, 21, was injured after being
hit with a live bullet. He was admitted into a Jenin public hospital.
Forces further detained, for hours, Both Ayman
and ‘Imad Yahya while tending to their farmland in the proximity of the wall.
Another youth from the village was shot late Monday and
later pronounced dead of critical injuries he sustained after being shot by
Israeli forces while he was tending his land near the segeration wall in the
village of al-Araka, west of Jenin. He was identified as youth, Mohammad
Morad Yahya, 21.
Forces also stormed the villages of Jalqamous
and Raba to the east of the city, where they set up roadblocks at their
entrances, stopped Palestinian-registered vehicles and inspected passengers’ ID
cards, causing delay and traffic congestion.
Monday evening, troops stationed on a
roadblock at the entrance of Tura, a village to the southwest of the city,
detained a Palestinian. The detainee was identified as Asil ‘Abbadi, 28.
