JENIN, April 27, 2015
(WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early Monday 12 Palestinians, including a
minor, from West Bank districts, said security sources.
In Jenin district,
Israeli forces stationed at the military checkpoint near ‘Shavi Shemron’
settlement stopped and detained a Palestinian from the city. The detainee was
identified as Aman Hardan, 27.
Meanwhile, forces
stationed at Barta‘a military checkpoint to the west of the city stopped and
detained a Palestinian while crossing the checkpoint. The detainee was
identified as Anas ‘Abadi, 23, a resident of Tura, a village to the west of the
city.
Another Palestinian was
arrested by soldiers stationed at a checkpoint at the entrance of Um al-Rihan,
a village to the west of the city. He was identified as Muhammad Qabaha, 32,
who is also a resident of Tura village.
Troops stormed the city,
breaking into several houses and detaining a Palestinian, sparking clashes with
locals.

They also broke into
three other houses, threatening the owners to re-detain them under the pretext
of being involved in politics.
The owners of these
houses were identified as Hamza, 43, and Anas Qa‘qour, 28, and Mustafa
al-Wazni, all of whom are ex-detainees.
During clashes that
erupted in the vicinity of Zayed turnaround and ‘Izz Ad-Din valley, forces
fired stun grenades and live rounds. however, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, forces stormed
Silat al-Harithiya, a village to the northwest of the city, where they broke
into several houses belonging to ex-detainees, threatening their owners to
re-detain them. The owner of one of these houses was identified as Sharif
Tahayna.
In the meantime in
Jerusalem district, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from al-Khader, a
town to the south of Bethlehem, while he was working in Jerusalem.
Nadim ‘Issa, 28, was
detained from his workplace in Jerusalem for purportedly not possessing a work
permit.
They also detained two
other Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their house in the East
Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Mukabber.
Both Muhammad,19, and
Ahmad ‘Ewisat were detained and transported to a detention center located in
Salah Addin Street, where they were interrogated by the Israeli intelligence.
Police physically
assaulted three members of the ‘Ewaisat family, inflicting bruises across their
bodies, and wreaked havoc inside the house.
They also detained a
Palestinian minor from the Old City of Jerusalem. He was identified as Mou’men
Hashima.
Meanwhile, police
detained Monday afternoon four Palestinian ladies from inside al-Aqsa Mosque
Compound.
Su‘ad ‘Ubaidiya, Iman Abu
Snaina, as well as Salwa and Ikram Ghizawi were detained and taken to the
police station near the Hebron Gate.
Meanwhile, police
stationed at the gate leading to the mosque examined worshipers and inspected
their identity cards.
