RAMALLAH, October 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, seized a vehicle belonging to the village council of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah, on Sunday and stole bags of olives and agricultural equipment from inside it.
Local sources told WAFA that colonists attacked Palestinian farmers while they were harvesting olives in the village, seized the village council vehicle and stole its contents.
Confrontations broke out between Palestinian citizens and the colonists in the aftermath of the assault, the sources added. Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at citizens during the confrontations. No injuries were reported.
The incident comes amid escalating colonist attacks across the occupied West Bank during the olive harvest season, including assaults on farmers, theft of olive crops and agricultural equipment, and damage to Palestinian property.
