RAMALLAH, June 23, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received Swiss Representative Anne-Lise Cattin Hennin at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah on Tuesday as she paid a farewell visit marking the end of her mission.

President Abbas welcomed the Swiss representative and praised her efforts during her tenure in strengthening the friendship between Switzerland and Palestine, as well as her continued support for achieving a just peace based on international legitimacy and international law.

Hennin thanked President Abbas for the reception and commended the cooperation she received from Palestine and its people, which she said had contributed positively to strengthening the friendly relations between the Swiss and Palestinian peoples.
