BETHLEHEM, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued to close the area around the Tomb of the Matriarch Rachel north of Bethlehem for the second consecutive day on Thursday, a security source told WAFA.
The security source said that Israeli forces continued to block off the area with concrete blocks, disrupting Palestinian residents’ movement and restricting their mobility within the city.
