SALFIT, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists chased olive pickers and foreign activists in Wadi Yasuf, also known as al-Wad al-Ahmar, near the town of Jamma'in, east of Salfit, on Thursday, assaulting them and forcing them to leave the area without their olive harvest, local sources reported.
Local sources said foreign activists were accompanying the olive pickers when colonists began chasing and assaulting them, forcing them to flee the valley and abandon their harvest.
Palestinian olive pickers in the area are subjected to repeated daily attacks by colonists under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
