WASHINGTON, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) – The 2026 Freedom Convoy USA is continuing its journey from Los Angeles to Washington, DC, with 42 participants calling for the prioritization of American citizens’ needs and an end to US funding for Israel.
The convoy departed on October 17 from outside the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles for a 10-day journey. It is scheduled to arrive in Washington on October 26 to deliver a petition titled “We the People” to congressional offices ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
The convoy includes representatives of religious groups, former government employees and veterans seeking to engage directly with residents in discussions about US support for Israel and how taxpayer money is spent.
The campaign calls for shifting government priorities toward meeting the needs of American families and communities, particularly in healthcare, housing, education and childcare, while ending US funding that contributes to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
It also defends the right to criticize Israeli policies without being silenced and raises questions about the influence of lobbying groups on US decision-making.
