HEBRON, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians on Thursday, while colonists stole olive harvests in the Hebron governorate, south of the occupied West Bank, security sources told WAFA.
The sources said Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods in Hebron city and detained a local Palestinian after raiding and searching his home and tampering with its contents.
Activist Osama Makhamreh said Israeli forces detained a Palestinian father and his son as they attempted to reach their land in Wadi Ma'in, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, to harvest olives.
Colonists raided the family's land in the area and picked and stole the olives.
In the village of Birin, east of Hebron, colonists raided Palestinian-owned land late Wednesday night, stole harvested olives, and damaged and broke olive trees.
