QALQILYA, March 18, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces killed on early Tuesday morning a Palestinian youth during their raid on the city of Qalqilya, the Ministry of Health confirmed.
Medical sources said that Khaled Saleh Qaraan, 25, died of a gunshot wound, while three others sustained moderate injuries to the thigh and foot, as well as physical assault.
The slain youth will be laid to rest in his hometown in the city.
Israeli special forces, accompanied by military reinforcements, stormed the city from its eastern entrance and raided the Kafr Saba neighborhood near the Martyrs' Monument at dawn today.
During the raid, soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters indiscriminately at homes.
They then raided a café in the area where young men were present, killing Qaraan, whose wedding was scheduled to take place immediately after Eid, and wounding three others.
The occupation forces imposed a curfew, obstructed the work of Red Crescent ambulances and medical crews, and prevented them from reaching the injured immediately upon notification by stopping them.
Sources reported that the occupation forces detained citizens Nasr Adwan and Saeed Salama while they were inside the café that was raided.
