TUBAS, February 27, 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued a decision to seize and confiscate lands belonging to the town of Tamoun, southeast of Tubas.
The official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Mutaz Basharat, reported that the so-called commander of the occupation army issued a military order to seize and confiscate 5 dunams and 217 meters of Tamoun lands in the Jalmat Asaf area.
According to Basharat, the targeted lands are located to the east of the illegal colony of Baq'ot, which is located on citizens' lands in the area.
Yesterday, the occupation forces issued a military order to seize and confiscate more than eight dunams of citizens' lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Last month, the occupation authorities seized a total of 262 dunams of citizens’ lands, through two expropriation orders for the purpose of expanding a colonial road north of Jerusalem.
The first order targeted a total of 258 dunams of citizens’ lands in the villages of Jaba’, Kafr Aqab, Al-Ram, Mikhmas and Qalandia north of the Jerusalem governorate, through an expropriation order aimed at expanding Road No. 45, which connects Road 60 near the Binyamin Industrial Zone and the two colonial Kokhav Yaakov, reaching the Qalandia military checkpoint, while the second order stipulated the right to dispose of an area of 4 and a half dunams of the area’s lands, for the purpose of expanding a colonial road.
