JERUSALEM, August 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday tore up the landscape for the construction of a colonist-only road in Beit Anan, northwest of Jerusalem, according to Jerusalem Governorate.
It said that colonists escorted bulldozers to the in the Wadi al-Kikba area of the town and began leveling Palestinian inhabitants’ lands for the construction of a new road.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
Israel uses the Jewish nationalist name “Judea and Samaria” to refer to the occupied West Bank to reinforce its bogus claims to the territory and to give them a veneer of historical and religious legitimacy.
