BETHLEHEM, August 24, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces detained on Monday two Palestinians from the village of Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem.

A local source told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces and colonists raided the village and deployed across its streets, provoking residents. The forces arrested Samir Mohammed Abu Aahour and Iyad Mahmoud Abu Aahour.

Colonists also attacked a private vehicle belonging to a resident from the Abu Srour family and vandalized several olive trees belonging to Khalil Abu Hammad after assaulting him.
