NABLUS, August 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided the towns and villages of Beit Furik, Awarta, and Beita in the Nablus Governorate on Monday evening, firing live ammunition, tear gas, and sound grenades and triggering confrontations, local sources reported.
Sources said that Israeli occupation soldiers forced shop owners in Beit Furik to close their businesses, while soldiers fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound grenades during the raids on Awarta and Beita, leading to confrontations.
The sources added that the occupation soldiers vandalized murals bearing images of those killed and splashed paint over them.
