In Bethlehem governorate, Israeli occupation forces demolish a wood shop

BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today demolished a wood shop in the village of Housan, to the west of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local official.

Rami Hamamra, head of the Housan village council, told WAFA that a unit of Israeli forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, raided the western area next to the illegal Israeli settlement of Bitar Illit and proceeded to demolish a wood shop owned by a local resident.

He said the shop was demolished under the pretext that it was built without a permit.

To be noted, shops in the western area of the village are frequently subjected to several violations by Israeli forces, some were demolished while others are threatened with demolition.
