RAMALLAH,
March 24, 2013 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies Sunday highlighted
the wedding ceremony of two Palestinians from Jenin and Hebron in the
neighborhood of Ahfad Younis on the ruins of Bab al-Shams tent village, east of
Jerusalem.
The papers
reported on the bride and the groom, who arrived in Ahfad Younis neighborhood
to celebrate their marriage, which represents life and resistance in Bab
al-Shams tent village and protests the illegal act of confiscation of
Palestinian land.
Al-Ayyam
printed a photo of Palestinian girls singing and celebrating the Palestinian
wedding in Ahfad al-Shams with Palestine’s flag flying high in the background.

headline read: “[Secretary of State John] Kerry holds talks with [President
Mahmoud] Abbas and [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu to resume
negotiation.”
Al-Hayat
al-Jadida printed a photo of Abbas and Kerry during their meeting in Amman,
during which Abbas briefed Kerry on the dangerous consequences of settlement
activities on the peace process.
Abbas said:
“Palestine to the International Criminal Court if Israel commences settlement
activity in E1.”
Al-Hayat
al-Jadida featured an article over the United States President Barack Obama’s
speech in Ramallah, saying that he scored “unexpected success on Middle East
trip.”
