Arab FMs to Meet with European Counterparts o Promote Arab Initiatives
AMMAN, May 9, 2007 (WAFA) - Arab foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Qatar along with Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa will hold a meeting to promote Arab Initiative in Brussels with European counterparts.
Jordanian Foreign Ministry sources said the meeting convened by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, whose country is currently presiding over the European Union, is to discuss related issues concerning the activation of the Arab Peace Initiative adopted in by the 19th Arab Summit held in Riyadh last March.
