BEIRUT, April 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks on several areas across Lebanon on Thursday, resulting in additional fatalities, injuries, and extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure.
The Lebanon Disaster Risk Management Unit announced that 303 people have been killed and 1,150 injured since yesterday, bringing the total death toll to 1,888 and the number of wounded to 6,092 since the onslaught began.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued a new warning to residents of the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, including the neighborhoods of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Tahwitat al-Ghadir, Chiyah, and Jnah.
Israeli warplanes and artillery also shelled multiple towns in southern Lebanon, including Bint Jbeil, Khiam, Tebnine, Jibchit, and Al-Mansouri, along with several other villages across the south of the country.
