An Appeal to save Lives of 2 Prisoners
JENIN, May 7, 2007 (WAFA) - Prisoners' Directorate in Jenin appealed to the Committee of the Red Cross Society (CRCS) and international HR organizations to intervene to save the lives of two Palestinian prisoners.
The Directorate said on Monday that Majed Tazaz'a and Yasser Nazzal, both from Qabatiya, are suffering from medical disregard.
It said that prisoner Tazaz'a, imprisoned in Majedo jail, spent more than 10 months in administrative detention, affirming that he suffers from heart problems.
The Directorate added his conditions have deteriorated during the last weeks because of medical negligence.
The directorate also said that prisoner Nazzal is suffering from a serious medical disregard and malnutrition.
