IOF Arrests 3 in Bethlehem
BETHLEHEM, May 6, 2007, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Sunday three citizens in Bethlehem and detained hundreds of citizens at checkpoint in Nablus, security sources and witnesses said.
Security sources said that IOF arrested two brothers in the town of Abaidyyeh, east of Bethlehem.
In the meantime, IOF stormed the house of Adanan Jibril 28, in the town of Taqoua, south of Bethlehem and arrested him, security sources said.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers, stationed at Bazan checkpoint, near Nablus, detained hundreds of citizens and cars and prevented them from accessing the checkpoint, witnesses said.
In the city of Tobas, Israeli soldiers intensified their inhuman policy against citizens. Witnesses told WAFA that the soldiers, stationed at Tayaseer checkpoint, forced the citizens to be half-during searching.
They added that the soldiers provoked elderly and children in addition to the "electric check system" they use.
