Palestinian Refugees' of Europe Conference Starts in Netherlands
ROTTERDAM, May 5, 2007 (WAFA) - The fifth Palestinian Refugees' Conference began on Saturday its works in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.
Attended by a number of high level politicians and intellectuals from around the world, the one day conference is mainly mean to enable the Palestinians living in Europe to express their opinions and make their voices heard particularly to the Palestinian leadership and to the international community.
Palestinian Participants said the conference aims at giving them a chance to discuss their rights to return.
The conference received a huge welcome from a number of local and international Palestinian institutions from around the world who vigorously support the Palestinians' "right to return."
The conference carried a joint message from the Palestinian people in Europe who strongly oppose attempts to make them lose their right to return.
on Friday, Minister of Sports and Youths Bassem Naim was forced to fly out of Brussels after Dutch authorities cancelled his visa. Nam was invited to attend the conference.
