AL-Barghouthi Warns of Israel's Widespread Military Offensive on Gaza Strip
BERLIN, April 25, 2007, (WAFA)-Minister of Information, Dr. Mustaffa al-Barghouthi warned Wednesday of Israel's widespread military offensive against the Gaza Strip that would incur high causalities in the Palestinian people and drag the region into cycle of violence and destructive.
During his arrival in Berlin to meet with Germany Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, al-Barghouthio called on international community to compel Israel to halt its continued aggressions against the Palestinian people and in order to give a an opportunity to reach a comprehensive and reciprocal truce.
He added that the Palestinian government continues its contacts with international bodies to lift siege imposed on the Palestinian people and open a path for a comprehensive and just peace.
