RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Minister of Health Mai Alkaila confirmed today two more cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the West Bank, which brings up the total cases reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in Palestine in early March to 667.
She said the two cases were for a 31-year-old Palestinian man from the village of al-Krum, in Hebron Governorate, and a 30-year-old woman from the nearby town of Samu’.
Alkaila said while the latter contracted the disease from her relative who had visited her from neighboring Israel, the source of infection for the former is still unknown, adding that the ministry was making all possible efforts to track the source to identify potential other cases.
