RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in daytime is partially cloudy to clear, mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot in other districts with steady temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mainly clear and mild to slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate and occasionally active, westerly to northwesterly wind is expected to blow. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to remain steady, with mainly clear and mild conditions in mountainous districts, and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Mild conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.

PMD expects a rise in temperature which approaches 3°C higher than the seasonal average on Saturday, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and mild  to warm conditions in nighttime.

Sunday’s temperature is set to drop and become seasonal, paving the way to mainly clear and mild to relatively hot conditions in daytime and mild conditions in the early morning and night hours.
