RAMALLAH, Saturday, June 6, 2020 (WAFA) – A member of the Palestinian community in the United States died today of coronavirus, bringing total number of corona-related deaths among diaspora Palestinians to 115, said the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

It said Hasan al-Sheikh, in the 70s, was the latest victim of the global pandemic.

According to Palestinian statistics, 1840 diaspora Palestinians contracted the corona disease of whom 962 have recovered, in addition to the 115 deaths.

At home, there were 394 corona cases in the West Bank, 70 in the Gaza Strip and 179 in East Jerusalem. Of those, 359 have recovered in the West Bank, 41 in the Gaza Strip and 155 in East Jerusalem. Five have died – two in the West Bank, one in Gaza and two in East Jerusalem.
