Two new cases of coronavirus in West Bank village and seven cases in Gaza: total 73

RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Two new cases of coronavirus were confirmed early this morning in the village of Biddo, northwest of Jerusalem, and seven others in the Gaza Strip, according to the government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem.

The cases in Biddo were of people related to the dead woman, who was buried yesterday under strict conditions, and they included her 37-year-old son, who works in Israel, and his 57-year-old uncle. Five other brothers in the same family, who also work in Israel, are being tested for the disease.

The seven in Gaza, said Milhem, were all for people who came in contact at the quarantine center with the two confirmed cases there and therefore they were kept at the center.

The total cases in the West Bank and Gaza stands now at 73.
