SALFIT, April 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces uprooted hundreds of olive trees from the lands of Marda village, north of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA on Monday that the uprooting affected large areas of land planted with olive trees, as part of an ongoing campaign targeting lands adjacent to the main road in the area.
The same sources added that these attacks are not the first of their kind, as the occupation forces had previously uprooted hundreds of trees along the road connecting the towns of Deir Istiya, Kafr Haris, and Marda, causing significant damage to farmers and their lands, within the framework of a systematic policy targeting Palestinian land and presence.
