RAMALLAH, April 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the town of Silwad and the village of Yabrud, east of Ramallah, on Monday evening.
Silwad Mayor Raed Hamed told WAFA that colonists attacked the outskirts of the town, assaulting a man, his pregnant wife, and their son, who were subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment.
Security sources told WAFA that colonists also attacked the village of Yabrud, stealing 15 sheep belonging to Suleiman Daoud and his son Alaa. Israeli forces stormed the village during the colonists' attack and fired tear gas canisters.
No injuries were reported, however.
