CAIRO, Sunday, November 24, 2019 (WAFA) - The Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab Al-Louh received on Sunday at the embassy headquarters in Cairo Minister Ahmad Assaf, General Supervisor of the Official Palestinian Media.

During the meeting, Ambassador al-Louh praised the role of the Palestinian media in exposing Israel‘s violations against Palestinian journalists and media workers, especially the deliberate use of direct and excessive force to suppress journalists.

Al-Louh also hailed the role of the official media in shedding light on the struggle of the Palestinian people and their legendary steadfastness as well as covering the Palestinian successes in various fields.

The Ambassador condemned the recent closure by the Israeli occupation forces of Palestine TV office in Jerusalem, stressing that Israel‘s attempt to silence the voice of the Palestinian media that exposes the Israeli violations against the Palestinian people will not succeed.

For his part, Minister Assaf praised the permanent media cooperation between Egypt and Palestine, which he said reflects the historical relationship between the two countries.

He stressed that this cooperation between the Palestinian media organizations and their Egyptian counterparts is a reflection of the depth of the current and distinguished relationship between the leaderships of the two countries.
