JERUSALEM, September 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli army forces raided Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, on Wednesday, and a village in the northern West Bank and clashed with their Palestinian residents, according to local activists.
Hani Halabiya, an activist from Abu Dis, told WAFA that the soldiers closed oft Al-Quds University area and the schools street while firing tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets at youth throwing stones at the soldiers.
Several people suffered from gas inhalation and required treatment.
Similar clashes occurred after midnight Tuesday in the northern West Bank Qalqilya-area village of Kufr Qaddoum following an army raid of the village.
According to Murad Ishtawi, member of the poplar resistance in the village, the soldiers raided homes while firing tear gas canisters at random in the village causing several suffocation cases and panic among children.
