RAMALLAH, September 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Terrorist colonists stormed the town of Surda, north of Ramallah, and the Al-Tireh area of ​​Ramallah city on Tuesday. They engaged in acts of rampaging and assaulted citizens and their vehicles, while also placing signs and hanging occupation flags at several locations.

Local sources reported that a group of terrorist colonists stormed the main street at the Surda junction and placed a sign. They also hung occupation flags at Al-Awda Square in the "Chinese Street" area near the Al-Tireh neighborhood, pelted citizens' vehicles with stones, terrorized residents, and blocked certain road junctions.

The sources noted that both areas frequently witness incursions by colonists, involving assaults and the placement of signs and occupation flags.

According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, colonists carried out 628 attacks last month. These were concentrated in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate (157 attacks), followed by Nablus (137), Hebron (120), Bethlehem (73), Tubas (40), Jenin (36), and Jerusalem (31).

Moayad Sha'ban, head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, had previously reported that occupation forces and colonists carried out approximately 23,827 attacks against citizens and their property across various governorates during 2025—a record high for the number of attacks recorded in a single year.
