MAKKAH, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – The Muslim World League condemned the ongoing Israeli incursions into and attacks on the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by colonists and extremist ministers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, along with the accompanying violations and provocative practices.
In a statement issued today by its General Secretariat, the League also condemned Israeli statements regarding the annexation of parts of southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
The League’s Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim World League’s Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced these serious violations, which he said inflame the sentiments of Muslims around the world due to their grave assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, as well as the other attacks and threats that hinder efforts to achieve peace in the region.
