RAMALLAH, September 29, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot and injured today by Israeli special forces during a raid on a residential compound where he lives in the village of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, before being detained.

The Sinjil Municipality reported that Israeli special forces raided the compound and opened fire on Ashraf Mutsawib, hitting him in the foot, before detaining him.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, and the village of al-Mughayyir, and detained a woman at the village entrance.

Israeli occupation forces also continued to level Palestinian-owned land in the town of Beit Rima, north of Ramallah, while groups of colonists gathered on the lands of the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah.
