HEBRON, Tuesday, July 09, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers razed around 24 dunums of Palestinian-owned land near an illegal Israeli settlement to the east of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to local sources.

Aref Jaber, anti-settlement activist, told WAFA settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba, under the heavy protection of Israeli forces, razed around 24 dunums of Palestinian land belonging to heirs of local resident Abbas Jaber, as a prelude to take over the land for the benefit of expanding the Kiryat Arba settlement.

Jaber added that the land owners filed several complaints in Israeli courts, noting that the heirs own the TAPU, a Turkish title deed, as well as Palestinian and Israeli documents that prove their ownership of the land.
