JERUSALEM, September 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces fired toxic gas canisters this Sunday evening at citizens' vehicles near the Jaba' military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that occupation forces stationed at the checkpoint fired gas canisters at the vehicles; no injuries were reported.
In recent hours, occupation forces have tightened military measures at checkpoints located at the entrances to cities and towns across various governorates—particularly in Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Jerusalem—hindering the movement of citizens and causing severe traffic congestion.
