QALQILIA, Sunday, September 22, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers yesterday prevented a Palestinian farmer from working in his own farm in the town of Kafr Thulth, south of the West Bank city of Qalqilia, local sources said.
Husni Odeh, head of Kafer Thulth local council, told WAFA that an Israeli army force prevented Abdul-Latif Arar from conducting maintenance works in his own farm and confiscated a bulldozer which belongs to another Palestinian villager, which Arar had hired for the maintenance works.
The Israeli army also blocked the road connecting Kafr Thulth with the nearby villages of Azzun and Wadi Qana.
Harassment of Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces is a routine occurrence in this area of the occupied West Bank, where dozens of illegal settlements have been built by the Israeli authorities over the past decades.
