HEBRON, Thursday, April 4, 2019 (WAFA) – The student bloc of Fatah, the ruling party of the Palestinian Authority, won the students council elections at Hebron University on Thursday, the Dean of Students Affairs announced.
Salah Shrouf told reporters that the Fatah’s Shabiba organization won a majority of 30 seats, while its rival Hamas-affiliated student bloc earned 11 seats.
Shrouf said 6,778 students cast their votes to elect 41 nominees in the election which began earlier today.
