NABLUS, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday torched equipment at a stone quarry on the outskirts of the Urif village, south of Nablus, according to a local source.
Head of the Urif Village Council, Mustafa Safadi, said that colonists attacked the outskirts of the village, setting fire to equipment inside a stone quarry and attempting to burn homes. He added that the villagers’ vigilance prevented the attacks on the homes.
Meanwhile, colonists attacked an ambulance near the Za'tara military checkpoint on the road between the cities of Nablus and Ramallah, slashing its tires.
In the meantime, colonists hurled stones at passing Palestinian-licensed vehicles at the Nashash military checkpoint, south of Bethlehem.
