NABLUS, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists assaulted a Palestinian man and set fire to at least two homes on Friday during an attack on the village of Sarra, southwest of Nablus.
Sarra Mayor Nu’man Abdullah said that dozens of colonists attacked the village from its western outskirts, assaulted a Palestinian resident, and set fire to at least two homes, as residents confronted the attackers and clashes broke out.
He added that Israeli occupation forces, which raided the village, are preventing residents from reaching the area, amid reports that additional homes have been set on fire.
The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that its crews treated a 45-year-old man who sustained injuries and bruises after being assaulted by colonists in the village. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
