Nablus Governor holds Israeli government, colonists responsible for deadly attack in Tell

NABLUS, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) — Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas held the Israeli government and colonists responsible for the deadly attack in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, which resulted in the killing of four Palestinians.

Speaking to WAFA, Daghlas said armed colonist groups attacked the village, assaulted residents and their property, and were confronted by local residents who stood against them despite being unarmed, leading to confrontations in the area.

He said the incident reflects Israeli occupation's arrogance and attempts to impose new realities on the ground by providing protection to armed colonists who attack the outskirts and centers of Palestinian towns and villages, assault and kill Palestinians, burn homes, and seize land.

Daghlas said colonists are carrying out deadly attacks against Palestinians while the Israeli military provides them protection amid international silence. He called on the international community to intervene and provide protection for Palestinians facing colonist groups that storm their homes and communities.
