JERICHO, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian man was injured on Friday after being attacked by Israeli colonists on the al-Ma'rajat road northwest of Jericho after his vehicle broke down while he was passing through the area.
Local sources told WAFA that a group of colonists attacked the man after his vehicle stopped due to a mechanical failure, assaulting him and stabbing him in the back.
The sources added that the man managed to reach the nearby village of al-Auja, where he received assistance.
The attack comes amid escalating assaults by Israeli colonists against Palestinians in the al-Ma'rajat area and the Jordan Valley, including attacks on vehicles and citizens and the obstruction of their movement.
