RAMALLAH, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian presidency on Friday condemned the crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces and colonists’ gangs against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Presidency denounced in particular the killing of four Palestinians by colonists on the outskirts of Tel, southwest of Nablus, and subsequent attacks by colonists on civilians and their property in the towns and villages of Urif, Surra, Imatin, Far'ata, Umriha, and Masafer Yatta, as well as the Israeli occupation forces' raid on Nablus Specialized Hospital, where medical staff and civilians were intimidated and assaulted, and two Palestinians were abducted.
It held the Israeli government fully responsible for the daily crimes committed by colonist gangs against unarmed Palestinians, noting that since the beginning of the year, 87 Palestinians have been killed, including 21 by colonists' gunfire.
The Presidency said the Israeli government provides financial and political support to colonist gangs to escalate their terror attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and to implement a plan of forced displacement, while continuing its war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip despite the announcement of a ceasefire.
It warned that the continuation of these crimes and daily violations against the Palestinian people is pushing the occupied West Bank toward an explosion.
The Presidency also condemned the decisions taken by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ‘Defense’ Minister following the crime committed by occupation forces in the village of Tall, including accelerating the establishment and legalization of colonial outposts, reinforcing military forces across the occupied West Bank, intensifying raids, and imposing a siege on Nablus and its surroundings.
It called on the US administration to intervene and compel Israel to halt its escalation and the crimes committed by Israeli colonists, warning that the continuation of the current situation would drag the entire region into dire consequences.
It urged the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities by putting an end to the Israeli escalation, providing protection for the Palestinian people, and holding Israel accountable for these crimes.
