SALFIT, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances to several towns and villages across the Salfit governorate in the central West Bank on Friday, tightening military measures that disrupted the movement of Palestinians and vehicles.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces closed the entrances to the towns of Deir Istiya and Haris, northwest of Salfit, as well as the town of Deir Ballut in the western part of the governorate.
The closures impeded the movement of residents and vehicles throughout the area.
