NABLUS, July 24, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces raided Nablus Specialized Hospital on Friday, detaining two brothers, including a wounded patient, and assaulting medical staff in the hospital's emergency department.
Dani al-Masri, deputy chair of the hospital's board of directors, told WAFA that Israeli forces surrounded the hospital, stormed the emergency department, assaulted medical personnel, and handcuffed doctors and nurses.
She added that Israeli forces detained two brothers, including Ali Ramadan, who was receiving treatment at the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the shoulder during the assault on the town of Tell. The forces also seized the hospital's surveillance camera recordings and attempted to blow open the doors of the administration office.
WAFA correspondent reported that a large number of Israeli military vehicles stormed the city of Nablus through the Huwwara military checkpoint and headed toward Nablus Specialized Hospital, which remained under siege at the time of reporting.
