RAMALLAH, Friday, February 15, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is partially cloudy to clear and cold to very cold, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic rain showers along with thunderstorms are expected to fall on several districts, especially the northern, in daytime. Rain is set to become more torrential and accompanied with hail in nighttime. Wind is southwesterly to westerly and active with occasional gusts. Sea waves are high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 3°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Saturday’s weather is cloudy and cold to very cold. Periods of rain, which could be torrential, are expected on some districts, accompanied with hail and thunderstorm.
Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partially cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime. There is a chance for sporadic light rain on some districts.
Monday’s temperature is set to further rise with partially cloudy and mainly cold conditions. A chance for sporadic light rain is expected.
PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
