RAMALLAH, August 18, 2017 (WAFA) - PLO Executive Committee Member Hanan Ashrawi strongly denounced the terrorist attacks that recently took place in Spain, said a press statement issued by Ashrawi on Friday.
"On behalf of the Palestinian leadership and the Palestinian people, we strongly denounce the recent terrorist attacks in Spain in which at least thirteen people were killed and more than one hundred were injured,” said the statement.
“We are saddened and appalled by such cruel and tragic events, and our heartfelt thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims, their families and the government and people of Spain,” said Ashrawi.
The PLO official affirmed the Palestinian people’s rejection and condemnation of all forms of extremism, violence and terror against innocent civilians, calling on all governments and people of conscience around the world to work together to counter such inhuman acts of cruelty and terrorism.
