RAMALLAH, June 17, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced a renewed disruption of fixed-line telephone and internet services in the central and southern Gaza Strip due to a new outage on one of the main network routes, caused by the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the authority confirmed that it is closely monitoring the situation with the telecommunications service providers and is continuously assessing the technical status to support efforts aimed at restoring services as soon as possible.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, telecommunications and internet services have been disrupted multiple times across the Strip or in wide areas due to intensive Israeli bombardment or fuel shortages needed to operate power generators. The latest outage occurred at the end of last week.
