JENIN, June 18, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin, at dawn on Wednesday.
Local sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by armored vehicles, stormed the town, while soldiers were deployed in the streets and on the rooftops of houses.
They raided and searched several homes, and turned the home of local resient Hussein Yousef into a military barracks after forcing him and his family to evacuate.
The sources added that the occupation forces detained a number of young men and interrogated them on the spot.
The occupation forces continue to close the Jenin-Nablus road near the towns of Ajja and Jaba', obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians.
They also continue to deploy military armored vehicles to villages south of Jenin and the Tarsala site.
